It’s hard to believe that it’s been two years since the first Chicz was
published in the fall of 2012. What a great two years it has been!

Chicz started out as a quarterly magazine designed to entertain, energize, and share recipes, ideas and more in quick, easy-to-read formats that fit into women’s busy schedules. After each issue hit newsstands, you’d ask when the next one would be out. Thanks to your demand and the tremendous support of our advertisers, we started publishing Chicz every other month. This is our 12th issue! Serving as editor of Chicz has been extremely rewarding. I’ve loved hearing from so many of you about your love for this fun, light-hearted magazine.

A few months ago, I became editor at Echo Press, the publisher of Chicz. Since then, I’ve struggled to give Chicz the time or attention it deserves. So, to ensure that it continues to offer you what you’ve come to love and expect, I’ve turned over the reins to my long-time colleague and good friend, Lori Mork.

Lori has been an instrumental part of Chicz since its beginning. Her decorating, culinary and home/ garden skills, combined with her experience in
editing and graphic design, make her a fantastic fit. I’m excited about how far Chicz has come in two years and excited about where Lori will take it in the years to come!

As always, we welcome your ideas and suggestions. Send Lori an email at chiczmag@gmail.com. Thanks for being a fan of Chicz!

Where can you pick up the magazine? The map won’t load on my phone and I don’t have access to a computer. I’m usually in the northern Alexandria and Brandon areas
