A new year, a new you!

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

I love a brand new calendar. It’s a clean slate, just waiting to be filled with all manner of wonderful things.
The new year can be a clean slate for each of us as well, removing all the regrets of 2014, throwing away all the mental and physical clutter and taking a fresh look at where we’re going.
Start this year on a positive note by taking stock of what’s really important in your life. For me, it’s family. And by making them a priority, I’m making myself a priority as well.
Taking care of myself – my mental and physical health – means I’m doing everything I can to be around for my family in the years to come.
This first issue of Chicz for 2015 is chock full of great ideas on how to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally, helping you to be the best you can be as you move ahead.
Check out our great articles on working out, avoiding that unwanted weight gain, fighting colds and flu naturally and making healthy fitness goals for this year.
We haven’t forgotten the fun things either. There are great craft ideas, a new Pinterest-inspired article and a few fun ideas for Valentine’s Day.
Check out our great book reviews and get some tips on getting an early start to saving for Christmas.
Combine that with great food and drink ideas, and I think we have a real winner here.

Check us out!

Where can you pick up the magazine? The map won’t load on my phone and I don’t have access to a computer. I’m usually in the northern Alexandria and Brandon areas
