… the story of second generation Americans in the late 1880s, covering 50 years of their journey adjusting to faith, language and customs in the “melting pot of America” while establishing a family.

At my age I read to be entertained and I love a happy ending. I also love historical fiction – it exposes me to other cultures and renews my appreciation of history worldwide. I also selected it because it is available for Kindle readers. Our library has them available and I love the process of checking them out online.

I would recommend it to others looking for entertainment and a strong story line.
