INGREDIENTS :
- 4-1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 12-13-oz. can evaporated milk
- 1/2-lb. butter (two sticks)
- 24 oz. chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 cups chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine sugar and milk. Cook until bubbling, then cook for six minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Add butter and chocolate chips. Stir until blended. Add vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into buttered 9×13 pan.
Yield: 5 pounds.
