Tag Those Leftovers

Tag Those Leftovers

By Lori Mork

After the turkey has been devoured and the pumpkin pie consumed, comes the age-old question of what to do with the leftovers.

Here’s a way to make those leftovers a little more fun and a lot easier for friends and family to take with them.
I found this idea on Pinterest and used it last year for my family get-together.
I purchased some medium size craft paper bags at a craft store, as well as card stock and some twine. I also purchased some inexpensive food containers.
Looking online for Thanksgiving clip art, I found one I liked then used it in a design program along with some personalization. I printed them off, cut them out, then used a paper punch to make a hole in the tag and tied it to the craft bag.
Before everyone left to return home, I filled my containers with leftovers, stuffed the bags and sent them on their way. Everyone enjoyed being able to take their bags filled with great food.
